Janey Knipe
Being raised on a ranch in Parma, Idaho, gave me the opportunity to not only enjoy the recreation that the country had to offer, it also was the start of my education with cattle, farming, and hard work. From make-shift forts, to motorcycle riding, to ice-skating on the pond, country life was a fulfilling experience as a child. Along with the fun, I also learned firsthand the value of hard work, respect for others, and respect for the land. This instilled in me an inherent sense of how to treat others fairly and how to solve problems.
My formal education has been instrumental in my career path as well. I attended Brigham Young University-Idaho, earning an Associate’s Degree in Drafting Technology, and Boise State University, earning an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. For me, learning didn’t stop there; next, I obtained my Real Estate Agent’s licenses both in Idaho and Oregon. I pursued the designation of Accredited Land Consultant from the Realtors Land Institute (currently not active) and acquired my Real Estate Brokers license. Through this and other continued training, I have become increasingly aware of how the economy, laws, ordinances, and other factors affect property and property rights. This understanding of the land enables me to better determine the best and highest use for a parcel of land. My experience and training have created in me a strong background for advising clients buyers in buying and selling rural properties.
I now serve as the President of Knipe Land Company, where I have worked for over 25 years. Knipe Land Company is a renowned and trusted company that has been in business for more than 80 years. As a lifelong dedicated real estate broker, the most fulfilling experience I have is helping a seller or buyer get to that next step in their plan or fulfilling a lifelong dream when they are buying or selling land. In addition to marketing my own listings and working with various buyers, I assist other agents with their clients and manage the staff for the company. I have also received the Top Producer Award from the Boise Regional Realtors® Association for 12 years during my career. I am currently licensed in Idaho and Oregon, and here to serve you. Email or call me to sell or to buy your real estate investment.
