Property Description

Location:

Located approximately 15 miles northeast of Kamiah in Idaho County, this 66.4-acre property offers a prime opportunity to immerse yourself in a secluded, off-grid location and enjoy the natural beauty. May work well for a bug-out property. Four-wheel drive is recommended to access the land much of the year. The property sits on the north slope of a canyon alongside Lolo Creek, with public land to the north and the scenic backdrop of the Clearwater National Forest.

Lolo Creek Ranch Acreage& Topography:

The property has diverse terrain. Elevations range from 3,330± feet at the highest point in the southeast corner to 2,603± feet in the creek bed at the northwest corner offering million-dollar views in almost every direction. There are several springs around the property that offer potential as a water source.

Partly timbered, the property was logged between 2013 and 2016. Old logging roads meander across the property, providing access to much of the land for maintenance, hunting and recreation. The tranquil waters of Lolo Creek flow through the northwest corner, and the areas along the creek were left in their natural state.

The land currently offers three or four possible off-grid home-sites. One of which (approximately 1 acre) has enough southern exposure for a potential solar system. According to the seller, no permit is required to build in Idaho County. This is one of the last counties in Idaho where this rule still exists.

Hunting & Recreation:
For outdoor enthusiasts and hunters, this property is a haven. Situated in hunting unit 10A within the Dworshak Elk Management Zone, it offers abundant opportunities for big game hunting, including deer, elk, bear, lion, wolf, and moose along with upland birds. Lolo Creek offers fishing for Steelhead salmon and trout. Public land just north of the property along the creek is an extra bonus extending the recreational opportunities. Additionally, the land features huckleberry and elderberry bushes.

Comments:

A great opportunity to embrace the tranquility of nature while enjoying a plethora of outdoor recreational activities amidst stunning surroundings. Enjoy big game, fishing, and recreation.
