Located near the small community of Kendrick, Idaho. Founded in 1889 and originally named Latah City. It expanded with the onset of the North Pacific Railroad and was re-named for their chief engineer. Located in Latah County in the northern Panhandle region, it is commonly called “The Palouse”.
